They say good things come to those who wait. A Kind of Death may have dropped on April 4, but the celebration of my new book and the launch of a brand-new series didn’t take place until May 11. And it was worth the wait.
For those who could make it in person, here are some photos and a link at the bottom to get your very own signed copy.
The event was hosted by Creative Alliance, a community performance space showcasing theater, art and films in Baltimore.

Book sales were provided by The Ivy Bookshop, represented by Brittany in the photos below.

We also had tarot readings by the lovely and magical Dreambaby Jake (who does remote readings as well).

There were drag performances from Jesus Vice 007 and Cherub Borne.

And, of course, a drag queen story time…for grownups. (Please consider making a donation to the Drag Defense Fund at the ACLU.)

And finally, I took the mic for a couple of readings.

Thanks to everyone who came out, and those of you who have already purchased your copy of A Kind of Death. Your support means the world. Don’t forget to leave a review on Amazon and GoodReads!
If you’d like to order a signed copy, you can get them shipped to you from The Ivy Bookshop. Just leave a comment in the Order Notes that you’d like a signed copy. Support local bookstores!
And thanks to James Trudeau for the bulk of these photos (a few were taken by me).
