For the past year, I've been working on a project called The Pansy Hour. It's an original, devised immersive work about queer joy, community, and resilience inspired by real queer history. We've assembled an amazingly talented cast and crew of over twenty performers and at least another dozen artists, almost all of whom identify as… Continue reading Help Us Reach Our Goal

Help Me Bring a Dream to Life
This Pride Month, I'm asking for your help bringing a dream to life. Last summer, I pitched an idea that had been quietly living in my head for years: a show inspired by the Pansy Craze of the 1920s and '30s, by Baltimore's hidden queer history, and by the spaces queer people have always created… Continue reading Help Me Bring a Dream to Life

Happy Pride Month!
Happy Pride Month! I've been fortunate enough to have my books included in a few Pride book displays this June. I can't even begin to tell you how much that means to me.

They’d all forgotten it, but, of course, Kyle sent him back to the car to get it. It sucked being the youngest, even if it was only by a few months. Kyle liked to think he was the leader of their group. Technically, he was the club president, but only because the school required they have officers in order to be recognized. Kyle was the bossiest, but they all liked to order him around.
